Custom Home
Custom home design build refers to a comprehensive process where a homeowner works closely with a design-build firm or a custom home builder to create a personalized and unique home from the ground up. Multiplex
The Multiplex study is one component of the City’s Expanding Housing Options in Neighborhoods (EHON) initiative. This study focused on permitting multiplexes – residential buildings containing up to four units, plus the garden suite in the backyard. As long as you have enough space, there are 5 units in total that are allowed to be built on one property.
Garden Suite
A "garden suite" typically refers to a self-contained residential unit that is located on the same lot as a detached house. These units are often located in the rear yard and are separate from the main dwelling. Garden suites are a type of secondary suite that can provide additional housing options within established residential neighborhoods.
